Ladies Two‑Tone Rolex Datejust Wristwatch, Ref. 6517, Circa 1969 A classic ladies’ Rolex Datejust, Reference 6517, featuring a three‑body case construction with screwed‑down case back and crown, fitted with a plastic crystal and signature “Cyclops” date magnifier. Serial No. 2,108,731. The watch retains its original gold‑painted dial, accented with applied bâton hour markers and a date aperture at 3 o’clock. It is accompanied by its original two‑tone 14K yellow gold and stainless steel bracelet, measuring 6 3/4 inches in total length including the watch. Powered by the Rolex Caliber 1161, a rhodium‑plated 26‑jewel movement with oeil‑de‑perdrix decoration and straight‑line lever escapement. The movement is currently non‑running and will require a full service; the watch stops after several hours of operation and will need an overhaul to maintain accurate timekeeping. Overall cosmetic condition is good, though the bracelet shows significant wear, including loose links, and the lugs display visible repair marks.
